JONES ELLIS
Jones Ellis is a real estate and land development company based in NC, USA. The name takes it's inspiration from my matriarchal and patriarchal great grandfathers. One was a tobacco farmer in North Carolina, and the other was a pioneer in the diesel- powered yacht industry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
My client really wanted to stand out… and is a big lover of that sweet retro vibe so I had a lot of fun creating multiple lockup’s once the design was nailed. I really wanted to celebrate the name and the narrative in this beauty is so cool. The “tobacco” leaves rising from the undulating ground also double up as sails in a little boat… this is also where the undulating waves become those in the sea.
Super simple but tells you so much and that’s when you know you are onto a winner.
