LIGHTWAVE CREATIVE
When Aaron and Rob reached out to me I knew it was going to be a lot of fun as we are all into the same shit having grown up in the same era.
With the name, there were many obvious directions I could have gone with but I wanted to think a little differently to make sure the direction was unique.
I worked on “light wave” as a theory for execution, starting with the type this time. I love how the letters lightly wave into each other, almost like you’re being lead through a journey.
The two dots in the type relate to Aaron and Rob and I really dig the logo mark as a wavy line that creates a L&W for lightwave.
The reason I popped it within the circle is to visualise the sun, the source of most light waves we see on this planet, which was also the theory for the colour choice.
I got a little carried away and thought of a hand doing a “light wave” so thought these added assets worked really well.
